Tattoos and Jedi? was created by
I have wondered, what is the temple's stance on tattoos, branding, and other body modifying practices? or is up to individuals to decide?

It's all good :silly:

There are many members here with tattoos, piercings etc etc.

It won't let me have a blank signature ...

Typically speaking, the Temple has an "it's your body, do what you want" policy.

Well, actually it's more of a "you are a unique expression of the universe in this instant" policy, but you get the idea.

I'm guessing you have something in mind... but no.. the things you do to your body are yours to appreciate and/or live with!

I'm assuming this is comfring from certain Abrahamic religions rules, policies, beliefs on tattoos etc. For example, in the Jewish religion states if you have a tattoo you can not be buried in a Jewish cemetery. I do not know what the Temple's policy on tattoos, however I have not seen any. I personally have several tattoos, so if there is a policy, I'm screwed. Lol!

Again, your body is yours for as long as you're in it, but no one ever went wrong thinking very thoroughly about what is in the bounds of good sense.

The temple has few policies and rules....

Mostly they concern with activities on the site...

I too have ink, and earrings... Been thinking of gauging up... But not sure the Mrs. will go for it, lol...

I doubt I will...

But maybe...

Nah...
