That post is moved to the council forums, but you made it on the 16th December 2013 saying to
faithfully execute the Office of Security Officer

The Role of the Security Officer is maninly to ensure the quality of our site remains high in terms of content and behaviour of its members. We are NOT a 'police' force, more of a moderation team, but given the varied elements of this site, moderator does not quite cover all bases.
They are here to maintain standards and make sure our rules are followed, if you are unsure of these they are in the FAQ in the following link:
I only put in the FAQ what is agreed upon in the Temple lol.
If you want to introduce the office of moderator then we can.
In fact all of these offices should be looked over again, whether we actually need them and so forth. The people who have left should also resign from them (and there should be no stigma attached to that).

This is correct....
And Phortis did resign.. I think Adhara (maybe Adder) was asked then...
Ren used to watch over the people and their oaths... Either you or I needs to... Or both, lol...

Whatever the case is we should contact everyone and have a post made here: http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/offices
Then make sure that they have the corresponding oath of office taken for council records. We should probably have an 'Oath of Resignation' too, an official 'Statement of Resignation' rather, for council records.
The Office announcement sub-forum is just that 'announcement', it shouldn't be used in any other official capacity for record keeping.

I was going to say that I did resign from Security / Mod position, but Jestor beat me to it.

It says that the security officers are like moderators, not that the forum moderators are security officers. I was under the impression that there was a moderator team that kept an eye on the forum, but specific security officers that over saw more serious issues than just questionable behavior in forum.
I think having the two different names might be confusing? or are there in fact two different capacities?
Maybe it just needs a bit of clarification.

Wescli was Security before he was Council....
As was I...
The wording of the FAQ is wrong....
Forum Mods ARE security... This does include Council... As most of Council are Global Moderators...
There are only 4 Admin, we are the last line, but, we will ban on the word of a forum mod.... But, we have other things to do, and it is seldom a ban, temporary or permanent, is needed....
Does that help?
