Political Revolution

I'd just like to say on behalf of all socialists in Britain, over here we are still feeling the Bern !!! I ask you, my brothers and sisters, to rage against the machine !! Stick it to the man !! Continue the political revolution !!! In the name of Bernie Sanders, one day the Earth will be a peaceful place !! Peace, love and light !!

How does one rage against the machine, stick it to the man and what is the goal of this political revolution?

Well, to rage against the machine, listen to socialist music, like twenty one pilots, CSNY, Neil Young and Rage Against the Machine. To stick it to the man you say to Trump if he wins "Screw you I ain't gonna do what you tell me." And the goal is peace, love and light.

So, basically, what you call for is rage in the name of peace. Identify the comrades, identify the enemy and then war for peace. Because if there is one solution to end senseless aggression, it's political partisanship...

What makes you qualified to speak on everyone's behalf? And what does Sanders have to do with this country?

You know Sanders is no longer in the race, right? It is Clinton, Trump, Johnson, and Stein. What do you propose if any of the other 3 win?
Unfortunately Bernie most likely wont live to see his next chance (8 years, 2nd term is almost guarantied at over 70%). Even if he did, he would be dead before his final term finishes lol.

But I'm not even sure who your post is directed to. Americans, American socialist, EU citizens, EU socialist, UK citizens, or UK socialist?

To get to peace we must rage?

To be good socialists we must support the careers of bands in the employ of Warner and Sony?

Bernie Sanders is certainly socialist by the standards of mainstream American politics. By UK standards I'd say he still comes in rather farther right than our current right-wing government.

Revolutions are rarely peaceful, sadly. Ideological transitions can occur in peaceful ways, but they're rarely sexy enough to warrant lots of exclamation marks and defiant songs.

If Bernie supporters were going to vote 3rd party because (well most I know can't stand Hillary either), I'm curious which one you think would fit better- Jill or Johnson?

I am glad to see, though, that the suggested actions in this thread are pretty much just sit at home and listen to music. I always get worried when I see the words "Political Revolution" in a thread title. I start to worry that people are trying to stir up crazy actions and things that'll put the Temple of the FBI's watch list. Not somewhere I want to be. :laugh: I've seen those kinds of threads here before and they don't tend to go well, for anyone.

If one really wants to “stick it to the man” then the best way I can see for that is to take personal responsibility for one’s life. Become an educated, contributing member of society. Continually work towards personal and financial success. And help those you can by being supportive of their efforts and freely teaching with no strings attached.

And do this in the face of all that tis thrown our direction… the misinformation, hostility and prejudice that so many believe they face every day.

And most importantly, smile while you do it.

There is no right answer for that question. It is subject to why they supported Sanders. Either way that question would make a great new thread.

I think we need a spiritual revolutionon on a personal level before a political revolution would do any good. However once the spiritual revolution takes place, pacifist-Anarchysm would be a fine system

Lol while im not sure of that, we do seem to be low in the barrel of political options at the moment. Its ok though, time moves on and so do presidents. Contrary to current scare tactic retoric, one mistake does not mean the end of a nation. I'm just waiting for the next Reagan to show up and fix all this crap!
