Jedi Order Wallpapers

I got a little spark of graphic inspiration and threw these together this morning. It's nothing elaborate, but rather simple and easy on the eyes. There are three different layouts, and each layout has two resolutions, one for normal ratio (1024 x 768) and one for widescreen (1366 x 768). Take a look at the image attached below and then choose which type(s) you would like from the three links below. Each is a zip file containing both resolutions for that type. Simply save the zip, open it up, copy the file(s) you want to any folder, and set whichever one as a wallpaper. Hope you like!

Type 1 is my new wallpaper. These are very well done!

These are very lovely. There are lots of people around who seem to have a lot of capability with graphics software.

I actually thought to make something like this, too. Went to the 3d layout later though. But nice job, I would probably not have gotten any better.

I used the logo displayed on the homepage.



And the dark grey texture at the top of the site as a photoshop pattern.

Everything else is scratch at 1366 x 768 original resolution.

What I meant is, can you post the photoshop file? With all the layers, effects, etc used? instead of a flat jpeg/png.

Also, we've got a better (than pixelized aliased gif) logo in a xcf file, I made that one. It's somewhere on the Temple PR/Marketing Forum. If you're interested.

I started with the Orthodox Jedi Code, and re-transcripted it in Aurebesh (SW alphabet) It took me few hours just to do it lol:



I enlarged the Order's logo at the same size:



And i mixed both together + few effects:

probably too SW...

It was one of those spontaneous moments of creativity that I open Photoshop, have a good idea of something in my head, and go to town on it.

These wallpapers are actually inspired by a certain set of star wars wallpapers that I tend to see around google and various wallpaper search engines. I think most of them were Empire wallpapers but there was one for the rebellion, both of which I took notes from. I was dissapointed that there weren't any like this for the Jedi in particular so I made one myself and that is what the first wallpaper is.

Then I took it a step further and replaced the New Jedi Order emblem with TOTJO's.

The text encircling the center is called Aurebesh (the galactic text in the fiction), and in english, it says "May the Force be with you", across the top, and upside down across the bottom.

Right now I only have 1 resolution, which is 1366 x 768, but it should stretch fine for most widescreens. I'll see about making a normal non-wide ratio resolution if it's really really needed for anybody.
