'What's he mean by that?' Benedict asked, while he and the CMC scanned through the forum.
'Perhaps because everyone is simply agreeing?' The Count offered.
'Or, possibly, because the diagram is rather preachy, on it's own?' Haid suggested, also peering at the screen, and when the two boys frowned at her, 'Well, it does make the argument 'This is makes a discussion, and if you don't do this, then it's not a discussion, so stop'. Interchange any given stance or topic for discussion into that formula, and you mostly have a non-discussion setup, according to this...'
Both Benedict and the Count thought about it, inserting varied arguments about God, politics, homosexuality, or any other position they could think of. And, much to Haid's amusement, they both ruefully agreed.
'Well, in such a case, perhaps one should ask Monsieur Jestor how he came to this conclusion?' Benedict cringed as his father interposed into the discussion, 'While I agree with him, myself, it would still be interesting to see what he based his criterion on and how he compiled these conditions for what makes a discussion as opposed to a lecture. Did he derive the qualities of a discussion from the dictionary definition, or from some other template?'
All three present thought on it.
'...And THEN, we shall be having a discussion?' Asked the CMC, uncharacteristically anxious, as though seeking the Master Swift's approval. Benedict rolled his eyes when his father shrugged.
'Maybe.'

I actually can take no credit, other than posting it...
I find so much cool stuff on "stumbleupon", I would drown the site...
However, I agreed with the sentiment expressed, so i thought id share...
But, when I posted it, I was open for counter thoughts...
I was hoping for a discussion, but as we all agree, I guess its worthless... lol...
