Puu and Jedi Connection was created by Alethea Thompson
A Puu is the Hawaiian word for "Conch Shell", in the video below features a conch shell which traveled from Okinawa to various points across the US, D.C., to Hawaii and then to the location that this video took place.
So what does the Puu have in common with the Jedi?
In 2010, I was asked to participate in the first public blessing that this conch shell was involved in. I also participated in a few other events to help establish a connection with Okinawa and a group called Circle of the Rising Moon (at the time a military eclectic spiritual group). I have had the privileged of holding that conch shell and blowing it.

Since then, there were three other Puus that came from Okinawa which are tied to Okinawa and members that participated in the ceremony on Okinawa. One was given to Rivan Elan, one to my current apprentice and finally I have one which was used by the person that started this tradition.
For those of you who are going to be at the gathering, Gabriel and I talked about doing a ceremony of our own with my shell, and perhaps my apprentice's shell if I can get it from him for the ceremony. I am in the process of trying to find some locals to come out and participate.
