Wow! Great for them!
It would be great if larger countries could reach these same numbers. Granted, Costa Rica is a smaller country and does have a plethora and abundance of renewable energy per capita, but still it's the spirit that is admirable.
I hope that soon other countries will begin to truly recognize the responsibility we all hold for moving towards cleaner energy.
I think I saw that something happened in Germany where they generated so much electricity with their renewable program that they were paying citizens instead of vise versa, but that was only a day or two. Still great though!
This gives me such hope and fills me up with a great feeling of lightness and happiness. Thank you so much for sharing!

What I get from the article are two things:
1. We have to find more efficient ways to use renewable energy sources
("Which means that for most countries, moving to 100 percent renewable power would largely entail building a lot more wind and solar. The good news is that the price of both has been tumbling. The not-so-good news is that these sources are still intermittent, and not quite as simple to scale up (although a lot of people are working on figuring this out, and of course there’s a lot of hope that energy storage could help). Some analysts think these sources could hit a ceiling long before 100 percent.")
2. We have to reduce the energy we consume. Because only then it makes sense to do something about the first point.
Thanks for sharing it, it's a great article.

U too thanks for sharing that reminder too.... my family makes it a point to "minimize" our fingerprint toward the environment. I am liking what I see finally. Lol some forward motion
