With a 500 word minimum, write a reflective essay on your experience reading Shatterpoint by Matthew Stover. Analyze the concept of "Shatterpoints" in relation to Mace's abilities and how they influence his actions and decisions. Compare and contrast Mace's approach to conflict resolution with other Jedi characters you are familiar with. Reflect on how the novel expands your understanding of the Star Wars universe and the Jedi Order's principles.

Echoes of the Past
I want you to think of a core memory, an event in your past that you really remember and I want you to explore why you remember it. What feelings does it invoke, good or bad. I want you to write an essay of at least 500 words exploring this and what you have learned from reminicising on this memory.

The Power of Laughter
There is a theory that laughter evolved as an involuntary all clear signal. For example a group of hunters are hunting a mammoth for food, however during the hunt they think a predator is hiding in the bushes, and so a member of the pack is told to approach the bush to check. Out bursts a squirrel which makes everybody jump, but then the fear is quickly turned into laughter because it was no fearsome predator but instead a squirrel.
Many people use comedy to deflect their fears, I find myself often making jokes in bad situations to take away the tension in the hopes of easing fear of the worst. However this is not always appropriate and must be used situationally.
I want you to reflect on a time in your life when a joke has landed poorly, how did you deal with it?
No less than 500 words.
