Oil furnaces: public service announcement

Hello all.

I just wanted to let everyone here know that if you have an oil furnace, you MUST have it checked at LEAST once a year. Even a few months over a year can put you in danger.

A member of my family has just died from a furnace that exploded, filling the house with soot and fumes. He last had it checked in late 2012.

Please tell other people know about the dangers of not having oil furnaces checked. There is no reason that anyone should die so senselessly.
