I think you're confusing sport with league. There are professional poker leagues. There are no video game leagues that I know of but yeah video games are a sport and they have lots of competitions.
Olympic sports are almost exclusively physical. The sports that make it into schools are usually those which have amateur leagues and are common enough that the school can find coaches, referees, etc.
Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
