Does working hard for a living mean being on a tread mill, being powerless? We can get what we want, it is all there for the picking, so is there anything left to appreciate? What does the other become, other than a forum to wonder at our self constructed splendor? What has happened to trusting (in the will of the Force), like it denotes in our Doctrine?

Lets look at what this message is not telling us. This law should apply to everyone, so lets look at it on a global level. Why are millions suffering on the poorest continent on this planet, Africa? They must really have a strong lack of self confidence. Could an average poor African in the Savana with a strong self confidence become rich beyond his/her widest dreams? Does this mean that its their fault that they are in this dire situation?

To true, but if you really are talking about Africa, that person may end up becoming the head of a drug smuggling thing or something along those lines. It also depends on where one was borned and how one was raised that determines their future. Some people just have really bad luck, yes there have been people that turn things around but we often feel compelled to help those suffering around us, so if you are a good person in a poor country you may feel compelled to stay and try to improve situations. Now as for \"What has happened to trusting (in the will of the Force), like it denotes in our Doctrine?\" We can still trust in the Force, to bring us what we are seeking, to guide us to the things that we need more then want. Just because we are actively asking and attempting to bring forth the things we want most, does not mean that we are doing those things, it does not mean that we are 'God', 'Allah', 'Abraham'. 'Aremis', 'Jupiter', etc. etc. etc. We are mearly asking, now i have the fullest confidence that if it is something that we should not have or should not know if we are not ready to have or know (deep understading of the universe may be confusing to many even if they are asking). The Force knows what is best for all of us whether we think we know or not what we want, it will always know. And trust, it is something i still struggle with, especially during summer for some reason, but trust is what we all need to live happily and safely. Be it trust in a deity, guiding light, or that people aren't all bad. Everyone needs trust.
I hope that all made sense.
