This is awful but, unfortunately, one of the many recent shootings happening in the U.S. Honestly...i have never heard of so much gun violence against civilians until recent years.....it's mind boggling...
In the article regarding the original post, Obama's speech was mentioned:
"Our hearts are broken today," a tearful President Barack Obama, struggling to maintain composure, said at the White House...The majority of those who died were children- beautiful, little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old," Obama said.
He paused for several seconds to keep his composure as he teared up and wiped an eye. Nearby, two aides cried and held hands as they listened to Obama."
Here's the video of Obama' Speech:

I just feel that these events remind us how vulnerable life really is...you think you're safe and stable, but that isn't how it might always be.

Where have all the good people gone? We see on the news all the time a shooting here a shorting there, some kind of bad thing happening. I think we need to ask the media to stop putting it out there. Hear me out if you will, I think the ones who intend to do bad see it on the news and all the press it gets so they think may be I can do better. I know we have an answer to this but some one needs to say it. People as a whole need to come together to fix this be for we as a whole brake it for good. We as people need to say we have had all we can take and end this. Now some one is shooting little kids in school, it's makes me sick to think about how far people have lost the way to the light side, the good , or what ever other thing you can fit in. My heart goes out to the family's of the lost to the good and the bad, for the bad just lost sight of what is right and the good have moved into the force. MTFBWY all on this hard day. It is a sad day to be a human and see so many lost .

I feel what you feel, the feelings of those directly affected drain me. The media magnifies this too much. This is a tragic but isolated event. Sad so very sad. We must be strong. We must look out for each other. We must believ good greatly out weighs bad and we must go on confidently but not unaware with our lives. The living force is strong. We must draw on it in our times of need. Bless all those with sorrow. Send them our best thoughts.

This is probably the saddest thing that has ever happened in the US. Condolences to all those affected.
