Fundraiser Idea. Also book publishing.

I've been thinking and I've come to the conclusion that it would be pretty damn
great if we had our own "book". It does not have to be a book like the bible, it just needs to summarize our beliefs. The Buddhists do this a lot. They have many books dedicated to various aspects of their faith. Those books are not dogmas, so I though it would be a cool idea to get the Clerical Members and see if they want to co-write a book and publish it. Publishing is the easiest part. There are a ton of print-on-demand services that anyone can use to self-publish books. Then, if we were so inclined, we could sell the book on the temple website as a way to pay some of the expenses.

Just an idea.

I believe ToTJO has a project in the works. FA is also working on an updated version of a book which would be our own. One day, I hope to see a collect from across the community.

I'm certain that I've come across a draft of a TOTJO book called 'The Way Of Jediism' that was being written in the past.

However, I haven't yet been able to locate the thread/book, and I'm also not sure whether the project is currently active.

I'll keep looking for it, unless someone else clarifies those points before I find it!

I've got copies of both "The Way of Jediism" and the liturgical book (PDF)

I am also planning on a project myself - based on TotJO resources (need to do more work on it before I can say anything)

Both the aforementioned books are written, but work is being done to update them

The Way of Jediism requires updates in regards to new and updated laws etc

The Liturgical Book requires permission from Mark if you want to see it. Both are located online in places
