So hypothetically, you have just witnessed a birth, a few seconds ago. You are holding the baby, and you know it can listen to and understand what you say.
What one piece of advice would you give them?
What one piece of advice would you give them?

Well, looks like you got here okay and all in one little wrinkly piece ...
So, anyway, welcome to this part of the World. But there are a few things you should keep in mind here during your stay :
1. Life doesn't make any sense and has no meaning, so don't let yourself get caught up in trying to make sense of it or find the meaning. Just live it ...
2. Keep a good, healthy sense of humour, especially about yourself.
3. Everything changes, EVERYTHING -- so get used to it. For instance, these first couple of years, we'll be changing your nappies. In fifty or sixty years, you'll probably have to change ours ...
And there are three rules of thumb when you can't quite get your head around those first three :
a. Love as much as you can, even when you think you can't ...
b. Don't hate ...
c. Don't take yourself so damned seriously ...
So, now that we've gotten out of the way, Happy Birthday ! Have a cigar (well, maybe not just yet)
* That all is just ONE piece of advice, for any who would want to call me on it.

Hmmm....one piece of advice.
That's hard to do and I'm tempted to follow Alexandre's path of giving a bunch of advice that could all be argued to be ONE piece of advice.
But I'll just go with a single statement for my one piece of advice:
"Smell the flowers while you can."

Live a right and just life, by trusting and following your instincts...if something feels wrong, it probably is....and watch where you aim that thing when daddy changes your diaper....
Warning: Spoiler!
There is passion, yet there is peace
Through passion I gain strength and knowledge
Through strength and knowledge I gain victory
Through victory I gain peace and harmony
Through peace and harmony my chains are broken
There is no death, there is the force and it shall free me

Life is an unknown, and we'll probably never understand it completely. Make peace with it, then try to live your life happily.

"You have been gifted with your very own brain.
Fill it up with as much as you can.
Remember to use your own brain when making decisions, because you know what's in it and the other guys brain may be faulty.
Use your brain to be a leader because everyone else is unsure and confused. Know who you are and what you really, really want. This will keep your brain unfettered by the fog of society.
Remember this phrase...Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way, is said to the weak minded"

'Advice?' The CMC perked up, 'I love giving advice, who said I didn't?' He was promptly shoved out of the way by Lu.
'You've had plenty of chances to babble and talk. Give someone else an opportunity -- after all, we only get one!'
'But, if that's the case, we've got to make it count. Make it something really important.' Pointed out Silus, solemnly.
'Like about financial planning.' Tensora-san agreed, eliciting groans from everyone.
'Or, more importantly, economic policy.' The more broadly minded Count put in.
'No, political philosophy -- it ties into everything.' James argued.
'Artistic.' Haid disagreed.
'A poetic piece of advice -- that way, it can be interpreted into any area of life one might need.' Triclops murmured.
'Ano... shouldn't we let Author-san decide?' Taro asked, meekly, gesturing to Jack, whom was watching the whole affair with her jaw resting in her hand. All of the characters turned to her, anticipating whose advice she'd chose...
"Brush your teeth and floss after every meal." She finally announced. Half of the characters groaned with disappointment. Kendalina shook her head.
'You've got a toothache again, don't you?'
"Owie."
