Weird question, but... was created by
Just out of curiosity...
I've noticed some members' icons have coats-of-arms. As someone who is interested in Heraldry (I'm SCA), can I ask...Howdjamakem?

Please allow me to re-phrase; what I meant to ask was, was there a special program/software you used to design it?

Mine is actually my family coat-of-arms I loaded from my computer. I have a better version hanging on my wall, but the core (colors, sword, and balances) are the same.

Yes, you are correct. Azure is another word for blue and Or is yellow. The sword stands for military achievements and the balances for the office the surname stood for. Members of my family have always been part of the military down through time. I've been able to trace my linage back to the first crusade, after that, the record disappears. I actually have a family member from the first crusade that is buried in Istanbul, Turkey.
