Rock and Metal (Therapudic Recommendation Thread)

Do you know that one of the ways to reduce stress is to strain allllll the muscles you have in your face for a certain amount of time, stretching them really good and getting blood flowing there?

Do you know that one of the ways to get a kid to settle down is by having them run around, jump up and down, and just go kinda physically crazy for a certain amount of time to get out allll the built up energy? - also a stress reducer...

... Did you know, that one of the actual benefits of listening to hard rock and metal music reflects this same thing?

When many people who enjoy rock and metal listen to it, say, on a really bad day, listening to it, even loud, actually lets us channel our aggressive emotions through it. It's almost like the song itself is offering to take the stress off it off our shoulders (sometimes by reflecting our negative emotions through the feel of the music and vocals), letting us experience the emotion very vividly and allowing us to accept it and then let go of it after the duration of the song, all in the safety of our own home. Afterward we typically feel a lot better, more positive, charged up, and clear headed.

This is one of the reasons why I have been such an avid listener of hard rock and metal.

So in this thread, for those of you who also love it as well, post your favorite rock / metal song/video in the comments, that have helped you out to release your angers and frustrations (but please do try to follow any common TOTJO rules that may apply concerning harsh language and obviously disturbing graphics).

I'll start it off with one of mine:
(Lyrics aren't specifically relevant to me here, It's just the energy and power of this that really does it!) :D

Gets out a lot of any darkness and pent up anger that can sometimes sneak its way in....

(Disclaimer: very aggressive screaming)
(Disclaimer II: However, music composition in many parts are very melodic and classical)

I like older rock & roll. The Ramones, T. Rex, The Beatles and Joan Jett (who is my favorite for many reasons). I'll be seeing her in concert this evening.
This is my pick:

I use rock as a conduit for my aggressive tendancies. It gives me relief in that I can let some of that animalistic crazy out. Especially when I'm on stage! The stage is a four walled enclosure for legalized insanity! In there, you may do and say whatever you want. People may judge or laugh at you, but they probably won't call the men in white coats!
