Although its been years, I'm still an advocate of marijuana....

Its not nearly as bad as alcohol in my opinion...

And I wasnt a "stoner"...

Most "stoners" aren't...

They draw, they paint, they express themselves...

I lived going for bike rides, mowing the yard, feuding the highway on cruise control at 55 and listeningbto Pink Floyd, painting...

And I can't stand painting sober, lol... And I realize I shouldn't have drove, but I was young and dumb then... Now I'm old and dumb... lol...

I've always wondered what would happen if I did art or music while under the influence of something. lol

i grew up sorrounded by people that smoked mari...none of them were insane...in fact most of the time they were the calmest poeple around...just ate a lot, and got overly creative with arts & crafts...and occassionally some would spew out the odd statement that would make you go huh?....but none were insane...

if it was really that bad, then there wouldn't be so many states legalizing it or considering to legalize it...

i've never used it myself...never had the interest in it...i don't even use prescribed meds unless absolutely necessary (this includes anti-biotics)...

I went to a Greatful Dead Concert, and my buddy and I dropped acid...

He didnt feel nothing within 30-40 minutes, so he popped 3 more...

I stood by my one, and a while later was flying... My buddy, ever the daredevil, partook of a few other substances, and we had to leave after the opening act...

lol, but, yet not, lol, cause I missed the dead...Saw Steve Miller though, they rocked...

It is definitely not for everyone... It is like taking your life in your hands...

People die from penicillin, and they want to try something like drugs?

I am allergic to a version of penicillin, but not marijuana, lol, funny I think...

People try drugs, jumping out of airplanes, bungie jumping, and all sorts of things that are life threatening...

Drugs arent the problem, it is misuse, and abuse, that is...

Drugs seem safe, cause there isnt a 20,000 foot hole in front of you.... Simply reach across the table...

If you are gifted without the use of drugs, consider yourself blessed...

No point in trying for those reasons...

look at the "side effects" of the supposedly safe fda approved drugs...

here take this pill to reduce blood pressure...oh by the way side effects include, anal leakage, suicidal thoughts, loose stool, and in some cases death...

yeah much safer then a case of the munchies and creativity :whistle:

I think that one can not possibly be a jedi without having consumed mari... after age of 21. I mean I could see a young jedi never having used it until their body and brain complete development(usually around 21).

Once one is mature, there is extensive scientific evidence for medical treatment with marijuana for many physical conditions. I had a friend with acute Parkinsons and he was helped tremendously. Now, they believe it can stop cancer.

It is also very useful as an herb. I've seen lots of scientific evidence of it being used to treat anxiety, nausea, and a few others. Now that it's legal in 2 states it will probably become more widely used and understood.

Yes it's a joke. If you're happy and healthy it's probably just an experience you may be missing out on. On the other hand, if you find yourself suffering from nausea, vomiting, premenstrual syndrome, unintentional weight loss, insomnia, lack of appetite, alcohol abuse, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, collagen-induced arthritis, asthma, atherosclerosis, bipolar disorder, colorectal cancer, HIV-Associated Sensory Neuropathy, depression, dystonia, epilepsy, digestive diseases, gliomas, hepatitis C, Huntington's disease, leukemia, skin tumors, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Parkinson's disease, pruritus, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psoriasis, sickle-cell disease, sleep apnea, or anorexia nervosa, you might want to consider it.
