Well, it's either some kind of joke virus, or you should start using more respectable browsers... Of all internet ventures, google is definitely the one that oudid itself when it comes to fighting phishing, it certainly didn't start phishing itself (especially since it's illegal).

Yea, idk, ...
Due to physical limitations, (wife throws a fit!!), I am stuck using I.E....
It kept bothering me, so I went in through a different way... logging from Google doc... no issues... then, I logged out, tried to log back in, same warning....
As i said, weird....

You know I keep 3 different browsers on my computer. Google Chrome because I believe it to be the best. Mozilla Firefox because wife prefers it and Safari because step-daughter decided she had to be different. To be honest it is really annoying but keeps everybody happy.

lets see, best browser = opera
best browser with addons = firefox
best browser for google aps, mail and more, chrome
if you use windows, obviously you have Internet explorer also
Google is the biggest company in the world, and its always against Microsoft, and in reverse also
But, even with this, Microsoft can not set google as dangerous website.
Anyway Microsoft Products ( including I.E.) are tricky and I remember that windows detect itself as a virus by mistake, in several ocations during the las 15 years.
in my opinion, your problem is MALWARE, you catch it, from websites, and you don't need to do anything just visit the website and you are infected....
to remove it, download MALWAREBYTES , its free to scan, so install it, do all the updates, and run a full scan, delete everything malwarebytes find, rteboot, and you are ready to go.
The idea is, almost all the computers have an ANTIVIRUS, but this software it doesn't stop al the malware, was designed to catch viruses, but viruses are less common in the last 5 years.
so if you don't do ilegal downloads, (music, software, porn... ) you don't need an antivirus, your common sense is all what you need, "BUT YOU NEED A MALWARE SHIELD,
malwarebytes its not only the best, use less resources than any other, and if you pay for it ( I do)
you have prevention in real time,
For the smarts guys that say, they use MAC OS, or Linux ( unix base Os.) because they don't catch viruses.... WRONG I develop 5 years ago, a way to infect and take control of any computer/cellphone, that runs java on it. if you can run java, you can be infected, even without a single click.
SO if I did it 5 years ago, now can be done easily
like I say
use Malwarebites, and thats all.
hope this fix your problem.

Appreciate the paranoia inducing comments lol. Also does that include cars?
I use Zone Alarm as well as AVG. Zone Alarm is good, because if you accidentally get a programme trying to connect to the internet it can block it from ever sending a signal. Can take a few days to get settled in (have to make it recognise all the programmes you want to connect to the internet) but it has saved me in the past.

Firefox used to be really good, now it sucks.
IE has always sucked, except the early versions which were OK actually.
Opera used to be OK, interface a bit funny but now it sucks
chromium/safari/ other konqueror-based browsers, even gtk ones are too web2.0 to be good.
the four technologies have good rendering but the surrounding interface doesn't cut it anymore.
I'd like to know which idiot thought that now people have 20+ inch monitors they would like to save space by removing the status bar.
And, 666, thanks for the joke. It made my day.
