If you don't do this first you're going to get nowhere. Then you have to make sure that both sides agree to the definition. Entire books are devoted to this problem. This is why we state our definition on the site.

HA-HA... I had forgotten you wrote this in this thread... I was going to reference you saying it elsewhere...:)

First, agree on a definition of what a religion is, or is not.... by the very simple definition (ok maybe not so simple), they will rule out even their own religions....Except with the lines, "It is what every one else believes...." Which never worked on my parents.... ;)
