Sometimes we seem to forget or even don`t believe that each of our purposes is upto us to decide on. We are so caught up in our limitations, problems and expectations that we forget how large the world around us is, so large in fact that we have an innumerable number of experiences open to us. We are all free to choose how we experience life. Some may understandably say "no" to this, but that is because we are not always prepared to take the consequences of our choices. We ourselves can make the choice to view the world through a lens of positivity. And when I talk about we I mean we are not alone. The all too readily forgotten company of others equally gifted and beautiful allows us to experience life in company. We are not alone. That is what love is about. We are all capable of love if we so choose. Love is the Force which binds the entire universe unconditionally. We have the opportunity to love the universe we are part of, just as it can be seen to love us. Extensions of love include appreciation, gratitude and friendship.
We are all unique. This means that we can express ourselves in new and different ways. Hence the cultivation and appreciation of creative expression, or art.

We all experience real challenges whether at work, at home, in relationships, with money, with family, with housing situations etc.
The challenges in themselves no matter how difficult are not the real issue. It is our relationship to them that causes us difficulty and pain. Think of what your life, your relationships, and your career would be like if you didn't complain about or resist challenges when they showed up?
Resisting, complaining about, or even feeling sorry for ourselves about the "bad" things that are happening is totally normal and what we're often encouraged to do by people around us and our culture in general. This is all understandable, but does not address the real issues at hand, the genuine emotions we're experiencing, or even makes things better for us.
That does not mean that we pretend everything is "fine" when it isn't in some kind of pretence, that would only be tantamount to denial. However, the question in life is not whether or not we will face challenges, the question is what will we do and how will we respond in the face of the challenges when they arise? Do we avoid really dealing with difficult things and learning from them by playing the role of the victim and not acknowledging our true feelings about them or do we face them directly, acknowledge our emotions, and choose to grow from the experience? It is always up to us.
