All Members Survey: Sermons in Print + mp3?

What do y'all think of (there will always still be the printed version) sermons in mp3 read by the actual writer. After all in a physical church that's what you get and I was thinking I'd like to have that. Anyone else?

Thanks a million for you input.

Interesting idea, though I may have to get over some stage fright to do one :-)
Maybe get a podcast or rss feed to get them as well, would be cool to have my phone tell me that there is a sermon to listen to :-)

Not having to do one B) I would say it would be great to listen to them.

I feel that it would be a very useful tool.

I'm up for it! The range of accents should be entertaining in itself :)

Do you want me to record one as a try-out?

Well, I have a monotone voice when I am trying to record something, If someone has a better voice, I would like a \"pitch-speaker\" or \"Ghost-talker\"... I've heard my voice on my voicemail and it puts me to sleep....

I guess I could give it a shot.....

I understand the human touch in the sermons, but what about to use digital voices?

I have a full set of at&t natural voices.
(just for the people too shy to record his own voice)

666, could you create an example so we can evaluate the process of using digital voices? It may be useful for those not wanting to commit their voices to recording.

I will record a sermon myself (if I can stand to hear my own voice!!) tonight to see how that works out too.

Sounds interesting to me. I believe I am up this week and will explore options to record what I have written.
