you know what's odd...i speak french moderately well, know a little japanese, and a little spanish...yet i was able to read and understand quite a bit of that...perhaps it's because french and spanish are both latin based and share many of the same words...or perhaps i have memorized more of that info then i thought i had...other than that it's quite good and would help for those that don't use english as a primary language.
