TOTJO ID Cards

OK this at present is just an idea so

PLEASE DO NOT BOMBARD US WITH REQUESTS FOR THEM

The idea of this post is to get an idea of the level of interest in the idea.

These would be wallet/credit card sized id cards - we would also incorporate a means for anyone to verify the legitimacy of any card produced.

Four cards (not a choice of card - it would depend on your rtank and whether your clergy etc etc etc - all cards share an identical reverse side so here are the mockups for your viewing pleasure

Basic Jedi card (for those who dont have or wish a rank or clergy etc)



A straight ID card for jedi with rank (initiate and above)



An ID card for Jedi Ministers/clergy that also has your rank

anyway - just give a quick post if your liking the idea or not

However, they wont be free - we envisage a cost of $20 for any one and each of these cards (for people living In USA/Canada and $25 for anyone outside these locations.

The cost is to cover manufacture, paperwork, postage and the few cents in change will go straight to the server upkeep funds of the temple - ie absolutely zero profit for anyone

whay not. we have Membership card's for aikido and Yudansha card's witch is not a card at all it is more like a Pasport we nead to keep track of workshops. and the tracking number theay have are tracked thrue Aikikai foundation, Aikido world hedquarters in Japan. theays things are onley given to thows how holed the rank Shdan ( first black belt ) and up. even thow theays things are to keep track of the black belts and thear traning. the cardes hear perhaps can serve somthing along the same lines.

it alsow may give pepeaill a beter sence of belonging.

Looks nice, I was talking to my master about this 1 year back and he told me to send a PM to Br John but I was afraid that my idea would be a bad one. Now I am happy to see that someone else thought it's a good one and the id cards are done. However for me it would be hard to get one as I am from Romania, which is quite far from Texas

i dont think it woued be hared to get 1 in Romania it woued just tack a bit longer for it to show up in the maill. May Grand mother's side of the famley is frome Romania. that is grate hehe :woohoo:

A good idea. I'd think about buying one if the exchange rate isn't too high at the time.

This idea has been in the works for a long long time - the main problem has been cost or minimum orders.

There is no issue in getting one of these cards to ANYWHERE in the world - it may well take a little while to arrive but it will arrive.

The international cost of $25 USD = £13 in the UK (roughly) and bear in mind this cost covers postage for everyone - basically some will cost more to post than others so its a calculated fair average - it is actually cheaper to have these made and sent out from the USA than it is from the UK - Im not joking when I tell you the cost would be about £25 not dollars for me to post them from here.

The main idea if these card is really to have a pocket sized 'certificate' - we have many members i the military and often need to provide evidence of their faith 9which brjohn currently verifies) - with a card - each one individually numbered - anyone who wishes to can contact totjo to have the card/identity verified simply via an email etc

This is the 21st century after all - time to get with the times a little and generally make peoples life a tad easier. if it gives anyone a sense of belonging then bonus (why a plastic card does this im unsure about)

Essentially - before we (totjo) get ahead of ourselves - we want to know the general perception of the idea - if enough people like it and show willing - then well go ahead with it.
