This is suspiciously beginning to look like confusion. Something which will be the end of these meetings. I have to say something if we want this to work we have to settle on a regular time.

As much as I would like to be there I cannot since I am at work on Sunday.

Master Rich why do you just not decide and announce it. After all you are the chair of this meeting.

As I said - Im easy on time n date so im the last person to consult

I 110% agree on the idea of a fixed time n day - it cant/wont suit everyone but thats the price that has to be paid - the folly of pleasing all as we all know from experience.

So for this meeting - does Tuesday 10th 2300 GMT (1700 Server time) sound good?

Here are some other things id like to see discussed if not finalised (once n for all)

Some form of SAA dept (conflict resolution as well as site 'guardians' (peace keepers, standards keepers)

A role to smooth out the initiates program - totjf call it marshal - something we could adopt - name aside - the job basically ensures an initiate really has done everything needed/asked to be eligible for apprentice. With this in mind - a new forum rank - basically apprentice in waiting - so potential teaching masters can see who is available.

A certain 'amnesty' that has been briefly discussed before (ie some decisions/closure)

Any other ideas from anyone?

None of those times work for me :) I propose we have it on Friday at 800 GMT...Just kidding

Due to work, class, and school, I may not be able to attend any of these meetings, so here I propose normal users are given the permission to edit their own posts. This would prevent any more 'drama' from happening around the Temple because if something is said out of anger (which hopefully won't happen!) it can just be covered up!

Ive said it before and i'll say it again - self editing can in itself cause drama

Now then - ive done this to demonstrate what im meaning - imagine you put that and i wanted to make a deal out of it or whatever - in the meantime you change your mind - fearing i'll steal your R2 unit in revenge

You change your post as im posting mine and suddenly the whole thread is way way out of context and garbled.

If its possible - a mercy period could work - some sites give you 5 mins to edit your post for typos etc and in the meantime - the topic is locked to other posters to prevent such confusions - whether or not this here joomla can do this i am not sure - so I'll have to speak to todd about it.

A full editing facility for all users is a good and bad idea - in the meantime - i could politely suggest re-reading your own posts before hitting the submit post and being sure youve said whats meant ;)

control your emotions ;)

We can set a grace period but how long should it be?

ZERO TOLLERANCE. IF YOU`RE OLD ENOUGH TO SWEAR AND INSULT THEN YOU`RE OLD ENOUGH TO TAKE THE CONSEQUENCE. Last night (despite a warning) someone posted that we are \"f****** Jedi\" with our \"f******\" oath. No other site I know tollerates such things so neither should we.

I'd like to vote on a reform for the Intro lessons.we have a lot of students that dont understand what lessons to do and we also have a High drop out rate.

I'd like to bring this up at the next meeting.

I understand your reason for not wanting a grace period, however, I believe that if someone wants to swear their brains out, they will have already decided that having an account here at TOTJO isn't in their future, therefore, they will not want to edit the post.
Yesterday, on the thread called \"deleting forums\" I made a small little post calling Angelus a hyprocrate. I didn't mean to make it seem so insulting, but I realized this after I had pressed the final post button. A grace/mercy period in this situation would prevent someone from feeling angry over a little mistype.

Your not the one with the catch phrase 'pass me my saber, its the one with badass muddy plucker on it' are you

seriously tho - zero tolerance of profanities (especially excessive) like it or not we ARE a family forum and we should all assume that all readers are 8 years old (bear this in mind with language, pictures, links and humour please or at least give a good clear warning)

If you think it could cause offence - it probably will - think what you would want your 8 years to see or not to see and use that as a good guide and if your unsure - pm one of the admins for clearance.
