Sermon was created by
\"When there is despair, peace\"

I feel that this means that we all need peace in our lives. There is despair in many things in this world, but then agian you can find peace in them all. Such as this war, there is dispar all over the world but the peace is growing in the middle east slowly.

This is my first sermon, so it is not that good. If anyone can help let me know

Hmmm. Not really a sermon, per se. More of a statement.

In a sermon, you've really gotta drive that point HOME!

I was given an excellent sermon outline by Master Hans, but for some reason, it has disappeared from my Computer!

Anyhow, in a sermon, you can't just say something and expect it to be taken seriously. You have to capture the attention of your congregation and tell them how it relates to them.

It's a good thing to start with a point. In this case you have chosen to interweave the first line of our code(There is no emotion, there is peace), with the 6th line of our Creed(Where this is despair, hope). Not a bad thing, unless you had intended to explain your belief on either of the two.

But once your point is established, you should begin to tell a story in which your point has been used. Either a historical or personal event would be just fine. Talk about what happened. Talk about why you feel the way that you do. Explain it in detail.

Then, conclude with something powerful. Something that makes your congregation think about your words. Make sure that they will remember it after they leave the computer.

Sermons aren't an easy thing to write. They take more time and preparation than just typing out a paragraph or two. You've gotta reasearch it, prove it, put it into contemporary words, paint a picture, and make an impression.

Master Hans is an expert in this. Perhaps he will give you the same outline that he gave me? Never hurts to ask.

Or maybe he'll see this thread and hand his wisdom out for all? We could get lucky like that! LOL!

I wouldn't doubt that he'll be reading this mere moments after my post bumps it back to the top.

(Psssst.... I have a suspicion that he just might be omnipotent! LOL!)
