Jediism is valid on it's own merits.
The sharing of information and such with other faiths and peoples is towards an embrace of what can guide us through peaceful coexistence without the need to compete, directly or indirectly.
It's not an opening or invitation to co-opt Jediism, and I have a hard time seeing it as anything but that under this context.
Similarities are one thing, but a hedgehog will never be the same as a porcupine, and THAT'S OK.
Respect that.
