Greetings Temple!

Has any one of you read this book? ( goodreads link )
I'm really interested in it, but am afraid to order it and then find some complete gibberish... So I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

Have a wonderful day, and may the Force guide you all!

Absolutely worth a read. The first edition I read in 2005 or so was my first inkling that anything like this path existed. I got a copy of the revised version last summer; without comparing side by side it's difficult to see what the revisions were, but my first impression was that the revised was somewhat more detailed than I recall the first being.

I like it, still reading it over Kindle. Here is a sample from the book, note it's not the complete work, but should suffice to provide an idea as to whether you'll find it worth the buy or not...

I recommend it, for sure. It has very practical suggestions for leading a more mindful, Luke Skywalker-y life. Not gibberish at all!

It has some "cheesy" moments where he tries to stretch the material to fit with a moment from one of the movies...but if you can look past those it is a good read overall.

I may even re-read it...there are some passages that'll really make you think a moment...or give you an "Ah-ha"-ness...if that makes sense.

I am reading it right now. I purchased it with a gift card because I couldn't find anything else and I am glad I got it! I have a good amount of study in religion and, I must say, this is one of the easiest and deepest books I have read on Buddhist theology and understanding. It's pretty straightforward and comprensible on difficult issues like the doctrine of no-self and the issue of free-will and environmental factors. A little cheesy periodically but I remember what Alan Watts says to us: we need to have fun. Bortolin is really having fun. Amazing book that I will definitely be keeping on my bookshelf for sure :-)
