The power in your pocket was created by
In the last sermon we were asked to think back to the last year how it was, what we could have changed and where we could have acted differently. This inspired me to write this post about the power we have to change the world every day a bit just by the power in our pocket. Yes we do carry this power around everyday and we use it also almost every day.

You got what I mean?

Yes our wallet :) it consists of coins, cash and the magical plastic card.

So where lies the power?

The power lies in what we are doing with it. Every purchase we make changes the world a little. How? If I buy this product I support this company I say 'go on like this I like it'.

For example I buy the cheapest products made by slaves or so called low income workers in poor countries. I support this, cause I pay for it. Nobody forces me what and where I buy stuff. Same with food. If I don't like that the world is being polluted with toxins and pesticides but I buy the cheapest food than I'm acting against my motivation.

Now for sure people will say but where do I take the money to buy local made stuff or organic grown food. In terms of food I think in the bigger picture non organic is more expensive than organic! Cause non organic is destroying the planet in the long term which will cost us a fortune, if not our future, to repair. While organic is working with the planet. Same with other products.

May the force be with as all
