Yeah so 2 things happened, one there was a badges feature as a part of the social plugin, and it was turned off shortly after it was installed.

Part 2 was the email notifications were not setup right and being sent out, that was just fixed, so the 668 emails that were queued up from the last 5 days or so this has been running all went out at once =p
