Soooooo.......next week all of this madness around the world will culminate in a huge event....
Eclipses have typically been associated with negative events, rather than the spectacle we enjoy watching.
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/what-folklore-tells-us-about-eclipses-180964488/
The path of the eclipse (which I'll be watching at my son's school) is across the United States Monday. I've had a friends concerned because of the eclipse's representation and the rising tensions in warlike attitudes towards one another. When we feel this tug at our hearts through "the Force", I find that's the time we most need to center.

What has to come ? Will my heart grow numb ?
How will I save the world ? By using my mind like a gun
Seems a better weapon, 'cause everybody got heat
I know I carry mine, since the last time I got beat

Well Alethea, you know from experience that when the moon is high or full, that people tend to act weirder and more violent than usual. Some sauce for others...

In addition the moon will be pretty much 'full' during the Eclipse and lined up with the Sun, which could be a lot of energy lining up. Even if some do not believe in the pseudo science behind it all, it is hard to deny that for all of recorded history people have become odd/even hysterical during and around the time of the eclipse. The Lunar effect upon us all is poorly understood but certainly verifiable.

I have felt some strange tidings in my meditations, and many members of various occult communities have been talking about something similar. I don't know much about astrology but it could have to do with the eclipse.

The moon doesn't affect human behaviour though. This has been debunked and is largely an exercise in confirmation bias.

Yet the incidence of crime and other events are much higher during a full moon, as stated in my US government article link. Now that does not say the moon actually effects but rather the incidence of things is higher during certain cycles of the moon. Belief that something effects the other is still effective in influencing behavior even if it is not true.

Oh, I love stats!
Someone do a chart of "Number of times there has been a eclipse passing over large parts of the USA" and "Number of times millions of people in the USA have randomly packed their cars and blocked highways and parking areas to stare at the sky"
SCIENCE!
