Which is where the term "bandwagon" comes from. And its not a sign of unity of memebrsip: its a sign that youve picked a faction and are in conflict with your enemies in the other, opposing faction.

Im not giving up my own personal marker of individuality, regardless of who i think may be right. Ever. Anywhere.
If you want to do so then go for it, but does that suggest that youre morally superior or just more emotionally impulsive?

As Jedi we are taught to question the status quote. To stand for our beliefs. I never claimed superiority. You brought it up. I'm just sharing my personal motivations. Why is this offensive?

I dont find it offensive, it just appears very rash. This topic was opened to encourage people not to flip out and lighttheir torches, and you seemed to be making the case that the moral or principled thing to do is to pick a side and jump into their camp.

Im makin sure its understood that its reasonable that some people feel the principled thing to do is to be patient and calm, and not jump into a camp or fan the flames.
