I can imagine that such a section may create confusion as to where journals are supposed to go, and what's allowed. Better to have the standard 'no comments' and let open journals be posted in the main forum. I notice knights posting in closed journals more now which could too potentially create confusion.

Yeah, I agree honestly. I'm not hugely in favour of the idea myself, especially given the disuse of existing Open Journals. I think the point I was trying to make was more "if you can demonstrate a need, then we may be able to request a subforum". My opinion is there isn't currently a need.
