Stillness

Stillness. I imagine it like a deep blue-green pool, water droplets falling from a stalactite, minute by minute, causing ripples. I focus on the drops hitting the pool, not counting but using their pace to breathe and focus my mind. When I look up, I see the moon, full and cool white, accented by a backdrop of twinkling stars; I am in a cave. If I leave my place by the pool, there is a path to the left where a volcano rumbles overhead.
