'allo!
Everyone seems to be doing these and they seem to be a good way to get to know people, so here I am, ask me anything!

I see in your avatar it looks like you participate in LARPing. If so, what kind, what do you normally play, why… it looks like fun.

Here's one for ya, since this is the easiest question for me to come up with and the one I'm most curious about:
If you could live anywhere for a year - baring the country which you currently live, were born, and any additional countries you've already lived in - where would you live, why would you live there, and what would you do while you were there (doesn't necessarily mean job)?

I know you're big into foam combat and LARP, ever thought about getting into lightsaber combat?
Also, what do you aspire to become in life?

LARPing: I play Dagorhir and Amtgard. I enjoy Dagorhir for the combat and the viciousness. I get to grapple, swing swords as hard as I please (heavy padding) and it feels more like real-ish combat to me. No light taps there. Amtgard I enjoy for the system and that children can play. If I had that around when I was a kid, I would have probably had friends. I like swinging weapons, I like teaching weapons, I like fighting. I love Dagorhir because I can play with my head better than in Amtgard. In Dagorhir I have the option of grappling people who have stronger sword skills, I have the ability to blow through guards better, I have the ability to shield check and kick to confuse or reposition the enemy, and many more things. I just like to fight, safely.
In regards to living in a country: I live in the United States and I have lived in Okinawa, Japan. I would otherwise like to go to Germany and explore the forest and the historical sites. I enjoy history and I love nature. I'm very curious as to what I can find and see. A second option would probably be one of those fancy Scandinavian countries. I want to see those pretty, pretty Skyrim-like lands

Lightsaber combat would be fun, however when I swing I swing. Foam helps protect us from being hurt, which is why I prefer it. Real speeds, less ow. With that being said, if I can find groups that don't charge an arm and a leg and had more money, I'd be down in a heartbeat.
Aspirations: To be me. I have plans for my professional life, to earn plenty of money, but at the end of the day I just want to grow. Where life takes me, that's where we're going.

As a sidenote, I don't LARP so much as show up and beat people up. I'm not a fan of heavy roleplaying unless I can hit. I'm more of a battle gamer than a LARPer.

Who named your pets and why did they choose those names?
( I'm sorry, ever since you told me their names, I've never been able to shut up about it!).
