If you could live anywhere for a year - baring the country which you currently live, were born, and any additional countries you've already lived in - where would you live, why would you live there, and what would you do while you were there (doesn't necessarily mean job)?

That is kind of difficult to answer because I have a couple different places I dream about going to lol.
But if I had to pick one, and If I had the free opportunity (Funding/Means) I would say.........Wales.
Even as a Child I was a huge huge fan of King Aurther, His Knights and especially Merlin the wizard. I have always wanted to see the places that inspired these legends and myths and walk upon those lands. Travel to stone henge and go on my own holy grail quest true or not true. I used to watch documentaries and scientific discovery shows in which such quests and adventures were done with many theories and ideas of how and where. Even if none of it is real....it would still be an adventure.
I also have ancestors that come out of Wales on my......dads? side. We are kind of a Mixed breed

Why do you think the Jedi have been so stagnant for so long? And, what can we each do as Jedi to break through that barrier?

That is kind of a loaded question because no answer is entirely/whole-ly correct. It's a long a hard process that no singular person can make happen.
But
I miss the old days when we were not afraid to find Lessons and the spirit of the Force in anything, including fiction. I am sad to see how far "Realism" has destroyed reality.
The reality is that we are human beings that thrive on the beauty and creativity of the artistic mind. This is why we watch movies, read books, play games, live and re-enact fantasy realms....because it gives us a chance to say "Hey. I know realistically we can't move things with our minds....but what if we...."
Its like Realism sucked the life out of the "Inner Spirit" of Jediism.
Now all we focus on is how we can be legally incorporated and legally looked upon by the scrutiny of those who look at us.....and then turn around teaching that other peoples opinions don't matter.
As such. I would personally like to see us take a page out the Je'daii book and return our focus back to self improvement by Mind, Body and Spirit.
Initiates learn the foundations of Jedi (Codes, behaviors, doctrines, communications, critical thinking....)
Apprentices go on a "Journey" to discover not only the different "Jobs" of Jedi (Gaurdian, Healer, Mystic, Consular.....ect ect...) But also to different Jedi Groups to see how they do things
Knights solidify there practice into a singular or double "Job" (Healer/Guardian AKA Sentinel)
Just Jedi applys alot of these ideas. It is kind of hard to explain it all though

WARNING:: This is not aimed at anyone in particular and it Includes me equally
Honestly? By getting over ourselves and our self proclaimed interests and biased ego's and start Communicating with eachother again. Be willing to find a middle ground and Give a little.
Sooooooooooooo many.....oh sooooo many people in Jediism think that they know better. And when the Drama gets hot they toss up there hands and say "Well." *Stomp Stomp Pout* "Im just going to do it MY way and you can either toe the line or go....."
Well.....You get the idea

Jediism will continue to be a stagnate thing until it's members is able to set aside there own self interests and be more adaptable to new changes and ideas.

You know...I still ask myself that. Heck...If you read my last Journal entry you will find I have been beating myself up over it a lot recently. Change is hard. Real real hard.....especiouly when the changes are in your own eyes.....all kinds of wrong. And Jediism is that ten fold all the time for me hahaha

But you know.....When I was a kid my parents lost faith in the church and separated themselves from anything and everything religious. I was told I had to find my own path in my own way. And when I did.....it was Jediism.
I was in tears the other day because of how some things are going and my husband was comforting me. I kept trying to shrug it off....What ever. Its not like any of it is new. Same old Same old BS.... I deeply miss so much about how things used to be it sometimes hurts. I kept saying "its not important" And i mean realistically it's not. There is so many other things that require my attention and the emotional hurt over it is not worth it.....I am being silly and taking things way too personally.
And my husband said to me "But this is important. If not Jedi what is there?"
People commonly say "Your past experiences doesn't matter, its what you do now."
But what I think people forget is that.....Real life experience, hardship, and so much devotion....Does in fact matter. And when things go south it does hurt.
But walking away from ALL Of that? Would be even worse.
Jediism as a whole may hold alot of this and that and the third......But has been apart of my life since I stepped into adulthood...I find that at the end of the day....MY Jediism is important to me. So its ok to fall down, brush off the dirt, and keep at it. Keep learning. Keep growing. Its forever apart of me now so......Be Jedi.
