The Force Is Strong Within Us

After meditation of myself i began to open my mind to the imagery i saw , letting my mind contemplate only what i saw as it came , and to not be bent on answering one question as it , to me , was more of giving meaning to what i saw . since it is only my spirit that produces what i see isn't my mind the consumer ? i saw many diffrent things and only during my calm state could i understand what i saw instead of linking it to what i wanted to overcome , the force to me is like a wave , power like electricity , but with the warmth of a cool oasis . To clerify my revalation , there is a dark side to the force in our universe and to some that may just mean " of course , if force is our fate then there lingers a unfotunatte end , if it is our universe then is the dark side a black hole ." what i now see was not that simple , The dark side is forged from our passion , it is power gained by someone just as powerful as our own and infact , prehaps many we know ourselves are the sith , but this message is not to convey a parinoia , it is to provide insight from perspective and to form another perspective by hearing your response . To conclude , there was a planet , with a canyon of fire in my mind.( is it hell , is it only mustafar ?) It is neither . Passion rose the flames to the height of the canyon , the scars you carry have left the lines and cracks in the brimstone that the anger of lava fills , but the most important part is that you may fall to this place in your mind , but the fire can go out , after you find your answer by letting it come to you , the canyon will harden and protecting your planets core will be this new land that is now formed ,and when the cracks are sealed then you will see the canyon is the lesson and when it hardens it becomes the knowlage that will protect the planets core ( soul ) and in turn , you will grow along with the life of our own planet , and , the life of the force .

I believe I get the jist of what you're saying.

I'm sure you will find as you get more into mediation you will find it is more about rooting oneself in the Now, to not ponder what is or what will be, but to become part of Now fully. The images you see, I beleive, are more distractions rather than visions, stopping you from realizing your full potential.

Clear your mind, do not ponder what is going on. Go out of your mind for a bit and relax fully.

The third lesson of the IP is a good lesson for this (appropriatly named Mediation). Perhaps give that a listen through? It should only take an hour or so. It changed how I viewed meditation, and I've gotten much better at it as a result. It is a discipline that I will be practicing my whole life, and I feel I may never master it fully, but for now patience and baby steps.

I like what you said, Arisaig, and I agree with you. Passion, yet Serenity. As someone who guides dream interpretations, I wonder if this were less meditation and more of a self-reflection on Church's part. Sometimes, a journey through a flow of images can be telling. While not strictly a dream, Church gave himself permission to explore an inner state through an image free-flow (much like one might use free-writing or a pictoral analysis in psychology), and then paid careful attention to what those images might mean regarding something not-so-distinct within him. I do agree with you that meditation would also be very helpful for Church.

Church, it sounds like you're exploring some personal insight into a very hurtful part of yourself. The dream is most meaningful to the dreamer, and the dreamer is always the best interpreter of the dream. Pay attention, be mindful. Go gently, take your time. The deepest wounds must take the longest to properly heal; scars will always remain, but a well-healed one will be a strong one and will fade the best with time. Patience. Have compassion for yourself.

You say the dark side is forged from our passion and I interpret from your planet description that the goal is to quell the passion/fire/dark side and solidify those elements of ourselves that produce these things as a protection of our spirit/soul. However you should consider that a planet with no volcanic activity, that is solid and has all "cracks sealed" is also a dead planet. The most dynamically evolving planets with the greatest potential for growth are also the ones rife with volcanic activity. The goal is not to seal the spirit off from the passions of the world but to allow the spirit to embrace those passions and welcome those experiences. We must understand that any act of creation is also an act of destruction. Realizing this is how one truly acquires wisdom. We just need to be careful to never be consumed by the fire by always balancing it with the cool quenching waters as well.

please disregaurd this , i have learned this was a self reflection of my own dark side , something i havnt learned the true lesson for . I am tormented by something that has troubled me and i have overstepped my boundries for posing something i had not had the focus to reflect on yet , may the force be with you all and if you do not mind for me to end this on a semi serious semi joking statement , i must now confront my own dark side , my own darth vader. i love you all and will see you soon .
