Can you see the force? No, so why would you be able to see, hear, communicate with an aspect of that force that has re-melded. What possible purpose would a singular consciousness have to remain intact after death? Rather than stagnating that energy in a dead end path don't you think it more logical that energy would be reused to facilitate the furtherance of the cycle of life. She lives on in all of us and she lives on in the legacy of the movies and in a myriad of other different and unique ways we cant even begin to fathom. Don't relegate her to one single blip destined to wander aimlessly for eternity. Let the energy that was Carrie spread through out the galaxy for the betterment of the Force itself. That's how I see her.
