Plagiarism and the IP was created by
I just wanted to take a minute to remind all the new aspiring novices that plagiarism is not accepted as IP work. Your journal responses are expected to be your own original work. If your only goal is to rush through the IP and gain a title, you may want to reconsider your continued study here. Training here is meant to focus on development. If you are not willing to put in the work, you may as well save yourself some time (and the little effort).

Copying someone else's work goes against the spirit of training here, and the IP team will notice.

Thank you,
--G

I'm curious. Am I allowed to use the FAQ's information as I did in my own Journal for "Temple Structure", Or should I try to redo that when I get a chance?

Using the FAQ for lesson 0 is accepted. What I'm talking about is that we've had a lot of people recently using other people's journal posts as their own. That is not cool.

In other words:

We don't know who you are. We don't know what you want. If you are looking for rank, I can tell you we can't give it to you. But what we do have are a very particular set of skills, skills we've have acquired over a very long IP. Skills that make us a nightmare for cheaters like you. If you don't cheat, that'll be the end of it. We will not look for you, We will not pursue you. But if you cheat, we will look for you, we will find you, and we will fail your IP.

The Temple Structure is pretty much going to be a copy/paste. We're not so concerned with that, since that's a "Know this is here and where to find it, it'd behoove you to know it" but the rest of your IP should not be copied.

We've had a brash of folks who copy other people's journal entries and try to pass it off as their own. This is what is unacceptable and there are consequences to it.

I fail to see how copying and pasting Ranking lists from one location or another is a problem? 0_o Journal. FAQ.

I mean....I get if they are copying peoples individual words but most people just copy and paste.

The problem we're having isn't people copying lesson 0. They're looking through past journals and copying other people's work on the other lessons.

And to make it clear, every journal does get checked periodically and via random entries just to be safe.
