Death and Resurrection

I'm 31 years old, undergoing chemotherapy for testicular cancer right now. I'm using the sudden influx of free time to study programming, calculus, and go through the novice lessons.

I've decided to use this as my transformation. I'm going to wane, I'll be tired and nauseous regularly, my immune system is going to be compromised, there's all kinds of restrictions to follow to make sure I don't expose my family to all my bodily fluids, yet through it all I'll be building myself up mentally and spiritually. So that once I've died going through the agony of these drugs, I'll be resurrected transformed, greater than I was when I went into it.

Just sharing where I'm at. I know I'm not on here as much as I used to be, and I'm still a novice, but there you have it.

I'm recovering from successful prostrate cancer treatment. I had two types of radiation and hormone therapy. My observation is the folks having chemotherapy had it worse than I. I found deep deep relaxing meditation and visualization helped with my pain and irritation.
