So you're an advocate of Apprenticeships and Knighthoods without any responsibility tied to them at all?

I am an Advocate of being a Jedi no matter you rank or status in your every day, daily lives. This temple is just a pit stop in my day and If i have time to help this temple I will....But it is NOT my defining purpose in life.

If I want to give back to this temple, I will take on a JOB and do so. Knight or not.

If you want to give back? I would hope that one would become a knight in order to give back.. If that is not your intention perhaps you should reconsider.

Perhaps I should. Since my integrity is clearly based on how I service this temple alone rather than how I behave and service life around me.

I will let Jestor. My Instructor here. Determine if I am a Knight or not by this temple standards. I will help when and where I can. But my life comes first....If this temple can't respect that....then I bid you my Adieu.

Our training masters alone do not determine whether we are granted the rank of Knight...

Steamboat's point, I feel, was simply, and maybe only till you find something better, is TOTJO is a pretty large part of your online, Jedi time....

Maybe you do spend more time elsewhere, on other projects, but then you still spend more time here than many...

And, helping us improve as you think we should...

Forgive me. *Bows* Let me be more clear. If my Instructor, and the council, and all those required to determine rank find me unacceptable. I will take my leave. (Which is what I meant when I singled Jestor without all the extra hoop hopping words added in my haste to get burning bacon off the stove)

I have enjoyed my time here. This temple has improved by leaps and bound from my past experiances, and even though i see a need for further improvment....I have come to enjoy my time here. I am following the rules and structures of this temple as is expected of me.

However. My life is rather busy as a mom and this temple isn't the only part of the Jedi Community that I serve.

Being a Knight. To me. Is someone who puts what they learned...Out into the world.

Being an Instructor, Librarian, accountant, News Boy, Moderator, Administrator, Councilor, Decon, Priest, Councilor....Those are positions of the temple. Jobs that one takes when they are best useful to the Temple itself.

That is purely my opinion. Dissagree....don't. I offer it just the same.

As I stated before in this thread. A Knight should be attached to the education of this temple and what one has earned through training.

A job is what you give back to the temple itself, regardless of rank.
