I'm not prejudice but...
I’m not prejudiced. I think people should do whatever they want to with their lives. But I think it’s absurd that I should be forced to witness a scene like this.
What people do in private is their business only, but yes, what they do in public concerns me and I refuse to see a scene like this and consider it normal.
They’re challenging social conventions, and that can be dangerous. What if some tragedy strikes, or worse, if someone dies, who’s to blame?
What would happen to a child who sees this scene every day? Kids will think it’s normal to wait for the subway on the yellow line. So, don’t act like that guy over there. Follow the example of the girls.

i didn't even see the guy on the yellow line until the end of the article....the whole time i thought it was about the women....and before seeing the name at the bottom i thought it was your perspective...it had me like "wtf? i don't understand the problem"....it's amazing how easily influenced we can be with words

We all have much to learn.
The important thing is that we have the right intention. It was drilled into my head all growing up to be prejudiced. I will be spending the entirety of my life battling those impulses. The key is to keep battling, not to be disappointed when the prejudice shows up.

also id like to point out that the third paragraph was intentionally deceitful in its wording
the author could have said "this is a challenge" rather than "they are challenging"
but the choice was made with the intent to set up the punch line
innocent enough, maybe
but noteworthy imo

I think this is the point it was trying to make. Not see just the obvious.
