well, picking one word out of my post, redefining and ill-defining, and then denying it doesn't help the other thread either.

Oh? THIS is what you're going to go with, rather than seeing exactly how you could be offensive using such an example. No wonder you're getting no where. You're more focused on how you were wronged rather than how you could improve your own ability to communicate to others. You're wasting your time over something that now doesn't matter. If you can't learn from it- then just drop it completely from your mind and carry on.

Dictionaries are created by scanning magazines and books and picking out words that appear frequently ,which means something has to be a word long before it appears in a dictionary not the other way around.
Biologically a word is any sound you can understand ,but sense we live in a chaotic universe different people may interbret the same sound to mean different things. This is how and why language changes over time.
