I get and give presents.
Giving presents make people happy and I like that, especially kid happiness.
Family gets together.
I eat and drink to much.
I recognize and acknowledge The Christ is Born thing but doesn't do much for meanymore.
Christmas carols have a positive message.
Christmas spirit is a positive thing.

I do. I love celebrating Christmas. Some people think that I can be kind of a Grinch, and before midway through December that can be true, but closer to Christmas I'm all about it.

For me it's about spending time with family and showing them how much we care. It just happens to be through gift giving, but in my family the best presents are usually the ones that are less traditional gifts. Small gifts along with hand written notes are a biggy in my family and tend to result in tears of happiness. It's great.

For my family Christmas really doesn't have much of a religious meaning. It's more about each other than the family of a deity.

What I don't like is being around Christmas shoppers, but I feel like that's a different discussion.

I do. For a long time I was sort of anti-Christmas... I tend to get a little blue at this time of the year, and some Christmas days have been rather bleak for me in the past. But since having kids, they're good days. Seeing the happiness on their faces... the wonder at things which are just ordinary to me, the Christmas tree, the lights, the presents, the food... they've taught me to see it with new eyes.

I'm not Christian so there's no religious significance to the holiday for me, but it remains the largest cultural celebration on the calendar, so I don't see a good reason not to celebrate it. This year I've decided to do some things which are more in the spirit of the holiday. Instead of sending cards made a donation to The Woodland Trust, instead of presents I've asked people to donate to a local homelessness charity, and instead of just sitting on my backside watching TV and getting fat I've been volunteering at one of the charity's shelters, so people who would be on the street will have somewhere warm and safe to sleep.

Like anything, it's what you make of it.
