Dangers of the Internet

One might wonder whether people need drink or drugs to 'escape' or 'avoid' difficulties of life- because now we've got something else- the internet... I saw this video this morning and thought others here might like to understand better the argument primarily against the ammount of usage of the internet.

I see the privacy issue az being legit
the rest is juzt people being people and the learning curve for the reality of what the www is
im actually suprised at how low the # was for the adult content

What if google creates a program that compares individuals www activites to all reported local regional world events and market trends over a 100 year timeline creating the worlds first DIVINATORY ALGORITHM?

what if google uses all the info it gathers on all of us to create a program that can tell me exatcly what to say to katy perry to convince her to bake me a cupcake?

What if every street light had a camera running 24 hr live stream straight to the www
not just for the police and govt but for everybody equally?

What if the sum total of all human knowledge were compiled so az to be available to anybody anywhere and the only "cost" of learning anything was a matter of how difficult the subject is to learn for the individual student and tthe amount of effort a ztudent is willing to put in?

What if the camera and michrophone on your ipod are actually turned ON all the time?

the internet has gone way, way down hill imo.
