Thread derailing negativity
It is incredibly annoying to have to read through 4 pages of negativity to find a single post that actually has something to do with the purpose of any given thread I'm trying to participate in.
I understand Trolls can be Jedi too, but the stench is chasing me away from what were productive, positive discussions.
Shame on any of you who puked on a thread and double shame on anyone who spit vitriol back. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but seems like the sport of the day is pissing matches and everyone wants the gold.

Sometimes, a little head butting, or uncomfortable-ness, is OK, but the level that is acceptable is not the same sorry everyone...
Thank you for a heads up, and reminder....

You're far from the only one to feel that our commitment to accommodating all is now preventing the Temple community from using our space in the way it is intended. I'm reminded of Arcade's disclaimer a few months back, that a thread he started was intended as a "safe space" for people to share their thoughts and ideas without ridicule. We are a religious temple. Surely our Temple should automatically be a "safe space"? If a guest at any other religious temple treated the ideas they found there with disrespect or ridicule, or used the hospitality of the temple as a platform to spout their own agenda, they'd be shown the door.
Sadly the anonymity of the internet lets those without manners do as they please.

Everything in the universe vibrates. Everything that vibrates has poles. Negative and positive do not exist just to contradict them selves. Being negative is not inherently bad. Though it is more likely to cause discomfort that doesn't mean that positivity is exempt from that effect.
For example the song Happy by Pharrell Williams has been played so many times that people are starting to hate it. I heard that Bobby McFerrin refuses to perform the song song Dont worry be happy. Both positive songs but both causing negative emotions.
On the other hand comedian constantly make us feel good by being negative on certain issues. And thought not everyone does this, many people get through the day by hating on people at work. Or any time we protest something because we dont like it. Our common negativity brings us closer together.
Bottom line negativity does in fact have positive effects.
Now, should Jedi on an internet based forum be negative towards each other? Probably not but hey, its the internet what are ya gunna do?

In the end you can only put on a stronger set of armor and hope you come out a better person that how you went in.
Sorry if its not what you wanted to hear rugadd. I've always been blunt but sincere.

What can you derive from what happens in this piece, and how can you associate it with this forum and what we are doing over it?
