Return and Confusion

Hello all. It has been a while and quite frankly I have missed many of you and the great conversations we had. This is an excerpt from my journal, but it is something I want feedback on from the Community here.

Well, it has been some time since I've been here. I got lost along the way. Business picked up and I got laid off from my job and I lost all focus. I spiraled out of control and lost some of my faith while doing it...

I kept having a pull, just a slight tug, reminding me of what I found here at the temple, but I didn't put much thought into it. I honestly feel lost and not sure where to go. My faith in a deity has died. I believe in the power of creation through nature and basically the laws of the Force. Perhaps I have known my direction all along but was too blinded by my own petty bullshit to see it?

I do not know. What I do know is that I feel it is time to come back and continue the training I had started and become something I believe in my heart, mind and soul is a true being of this universe and become one with the Force.

Do not be put off by ultimately very normal human responses to things. It is paradoxical, but to lose faith is having faith. If you can't 'let go' of it, then it isn't faith at all ...

As it were, we are still here, as are you ...

What you have learnt so far will carry you through many trials already.

Thank you for your welcoming me back, all of you. I feel more deflated than elated because I strayed from the path and lost my way. I know it is very human and many of us have done it, but it is no excuse either.

Good to meet you, Silvermane. For what it's worth, some of the things I saw off the path made things on the path much clearer.

And sometimes I think it's all path, even the confusion. Even the mistakes.

Sometimes we walk beside one another, sometimes we walk apart. Every hardship and loss you face is part of you becoming more the person you were born to be. We are all here to share in that journey to support you and love you through it in whatever way you need. Look around and you will see only smiling faces that are happy you are back, and will remain so when you depart because of what you offer to the world.

Foundations were meant to be shaken...sometimes upended entirely. You are not the same person you were even a few years ago, and it's okay to believe differently when your perspective has shifted. Maybe you are thinking more clearly, or maybe less clearly...it is difficult to know without intimate knowledge of YOU. Either way, the conclusions you've drawn of late are no less valid. Nor are they permanent. Keep evolving, keep walking alongside us when it suits - and know that you are on your path as long as you exist on this plane.
