Hi everyone,
I have an unusual problem I need help with. I'm in grad school for Education and my current course requires me to be an on-site mentor to a teacher. I can't find anyone. I've asked everyone I know and called every number I can find. You'd think that schools would be very interested but they're not. They don't even answer their emails or phone calls. I've tried word of mouth and friends of friends and teachers I know. In the end everyone just wasted my time and left me only a few more days to find someone. If anyone can help out I'd appreciate it. I need to find someone in Eastern Washington by Saturday to sign a mentoring agreement or I'll probably fail my course and get kicked out of my degree program.

Thanks

Hello Whyte Horse,

I am sorry for your burden. I can relate to how stressful college assignments can be, especially when you have to rely on others for a pass or failing grade for your assignments.

I personally do not know anyone in the Washington area that would benefit you and your current situations. If it was in my state, I might be able to offer more assistance. The only advice I could think of to give you, is post on other social media websites such as Facebook or possibly Craigslist, and see if you have any improvement. Maybe try leaving fliers in Starbucks, they usually have bulletin boards to where you can posts things.

May the Force be with you,

Revan

Have you approached your tutors? I imagine they've had to deal with issues like this before and may be able to put you in touch with someone or recommend you for a place.

Yes but I'm waiting for a reply. They're in AZ and I'm the first WA teacher so they don't have all the peer agreements yet.
