I think dreams or the dream world is a link to other realities, dimensions or unconscious minds. Please don't ask me fo proof cuz that isn't want to discuss. Dreams are telling me something. Anyone have a recuring dream the'd like to share?

O! O! ME! FIRST! ME! FIRST! Ok OK Rickie you can go first but don't talk to much and give everyone else a chance to talk..

In my dream I'm disembodied and floating, not flying, looking down on myself (I'm not dead) and can glide from room to room, up and down stairs effortlessly. No arm flapping or anything like that. I can soar outside with no fear of falling but can't fly real high in the sky. I feel really good and happy, no anxiety, but I just can't get way up in the sky or into outer space. This can happen while mediatating as well.

So what does everyone else dream?

When I was a kid I had a reoccurring dream of this house-sized octopus that could travel through the ground and would enslave the minds of everybody but me. I remember everyone lining up for the octopus overlord (to get eaten if I remember right) and my fear when I couldn't pull my parents out of the line and out of the thrall. This was very scary for me even after I woke up XD

Nothing reoccurring lately. Work has been a reoccurring theme this week. (gag)

I don't tend to have recurring dreams now, but as a teenager I had a dream an invisible person was trying to kill me.

I'd be having a normal (what you can consider normal) dream, then suddenly dreaming I'm in normal life being chased by an invisible man. Eventually the dreams ended when I gave in and let him kill me (stabbed in chest... lovely).

It won't let me have a blank signature ...

You ladies are weird...<hides his giant octopus costume and invisible paint> :silly: j/k

I can't remember ever having a recurring dream, and I can remember most if not all of my dreams...

Now I've got some women to torment <looks for new disguises> :woohoo:

Zombie penguins?....I'll have to look into that...coincidentally my brother is working on a zombie koi yin-yang tattoo for me...lol

Well back on track (sort of) while I don't recall ever having a recurring dream, I have had recurring themes and elements within dreams...ie searching for something, traveling great distances etc...

Not many recurring dreams that I remember no, obviously my concept of 'self' is very recurring HAHA, but for a long while I often seemed to get drawn back to some nature of school establishment. Often with some sort of disablement, something holding me back etc.

To say I didn't have them would assume I knew every dream I had!! So perhaps we all have them but at different times they either stay buried outside awareness or shine brightly as vivid dreams, for whatever reason. Maybe then for unwanted dreams its just a matter of accepting them as happening, and letting your attention shift to other types of dreams - instead of trying to stop them. Though it's probably a good way to immerse oneself in a dream, by trying to stop/control it, but by doing so the process might actually be connecting in higher detail and subsequently making the dream appear stronger.

I regularly have epic apocalyptic dreams. The details vary, but vast destruction is always a theme, and I always survive.

My most recent one involved titans coming out of a volcano, drawn by the electricity in our cities and destroyed everything. As the destruction started a kind of rescue pod inflated around me (like being trapped in a bouncy castle :silly: ) and shot me into space to wait out the chaos. There were a few other pods too but I have no idea who was in them.

Once the titans had left we came back down to survey the damage. Some idiot found a single solitary electric light and turned it on...

Last thing I remember was the titans coming back out for it :S
