I find the whole song very comforting, and it has buoyed me through hard times. It reminds me that though there is darkness in the world, the is so much light as well, and many of the frightening things are part of the cycle and balance of the world. It reminds me that fear can blind you to beauty, and that age and experience will release many of these fears that plague us.
