Although I have heard this advice many times in many ways, it is always a welcome bit. From time to time I forget this and allow myself to be persuaded by other back in to the "money is the most important thing" mindset

Thank you for posting, I will be sharing this with my family

So long and thanks for all the fish

Riding school isnt free. Even if you are the owner, you have to have money to start a business.

Certainly, you done need to make money off of the things you want to enjoy.

However, dont expect to get to always do the things you want to enjoy without money(or some other form of payment or recompense).

Its not the most important thing, but as a means to an end, it serves a purpose.

I do agree that you should spend your life doing the things that will bring you joy...but you have to accept that the chances are you will have to work at things you do not enjoy as much to get where you need to be. Alright, I understand that this isn't mastering something...but seriously.

I do warehouse work. I don't like it, it's not what I want to do with the rest of my life. But, it has given me travel opportunities, and through this company I have gotten to go places and do things hat others do not get the chance to do. Traveling and experiencing history is just one of my many passions. But, without having taken the small step of having this job, I might have never gotten to go to Germany and live there for a year, and I might not have gotten to go to Italy for a whole week and visit Venice, Pisa, and Rome.

So...I mostly agree with what this teaches, what its advice is. You should live life the way you want to, and do the things you are most passionate about...But, you have to be a bit more logical in some senses as well, rather than just running off to be a poet that makes enough money to put food in their tummies.

Money is no object... Money is and always has been debt.

Money = Debt

Once you understand this you'll care less about money and more about stress and labor. :dry:

Money is conceptual, so it is no object when you think about it. Beyond taking care of my basic needs, I have little value for money. The things that make me happiest are not material and cannot be bought with money.

If I ever came into a large amount of money, I would like to think I'd donate a great majority of it to charity.

I'd rather help others with my money than possess more material good.

Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
